ARRIVAL IN THE RIVIERA MAYA
Welcome to paradise! Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to our peaceful jungle lodge just outside Playa del Carmen. Nestled in a lush, wildlife-filled sanctuary, this family-owned retreat has been welcoming Mundial Eco Tours guests for nearly a decade. Settle in, breathe in the tropical air, and listen to the sounds of nature all around you—if you’re lucky, the resident spider monkeys might swing by to say hello. Tonight, we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle.

RIO SECRETO CAVING ADVENTURE
Today we journey deep beneath the earth for an unforgettable experience at Río Secreto, an underground river system of crystal-clear waters and ancient rock formations. As VIP guests, we have access to areas closed to the public, allowing us to explore this natural wonder in rare solitude. Along the way, we’ll learn about the geology and ecology that shaped this otherworldly landscape. After our private tour, we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch before returning to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon and group dinner under the stars.

CHICHEN ITZA & MAYAN HOMESTAY EXPERIENCE
An early departure takes us to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World—Chichen Itza. Our expert-guided tour reveals the stories and astronomical brilliance behind this sacred site, once the heart of the Mayan empire. Afterward, we’ll visit a local host family for a hands-on Mayan culinary experience and an afternoon immersed in ancient traditions, history, and language. Share stories, prepare traditional dishes, and connect with a culture whose roots run deep. As the day winds down, we return to our lodge to rest and reflect on this extraordinary experience.

CENOTE SWIM & TULUM EXPLORATION
After breakfast, we’ll visit one of the Riviera Maya’s most beautiful cenotes, a sacred natural sinkhole once used by the Maya for ritual offerings. Take a refreshing dip in its crystal waters before heading to the bohemian beach town of Tulum. Spend the afternoon exploring its vibrant shops, oceanfront ruins, or simply relaxing by the turquoise sea. As the sun sets, we return to the lodge, where Chef Sebastián will prepare a special farewell dinner to celebrate our final night together.
