Our goal is to create unforgettable, seamless travel experiences and part of that requires us to make early commitments to local partners, lodges, guides, and vendors on your behalf. However, when cancellations or changes occur, the ripple effects reach far beyond the traveler. They require early, non-refundable payments to secure accommodations and activities. As such, we have a strict payment and cancellation policy that applies to all travelers booking our tours.

All payments made toward your trip — including the initial deposit, interim payments, and final balances — are non-refundable. We make significant financial commitments well in advance to ensure a smooth experience for the traveler, including securing small-scale accommodations, paying local teams and organizing personalized services. This means we are unable to absorb losses in the event of a cancellation, regardless of the circumstances.

As a traveler, you are responsible for any costs incurred due to missed flights, personal emergencies, travel delays, or illness — whether before your departure or during the trip. We do not offer partial refunds for missed portions of the experience due to late arrivals or early departures. This policy applies in full, with no exceptions for personal emergencies, weather disruptions, or acts of nature. By reserving your spot with us, you acknowledge and agree to this policy in its entirety.

Please understand that our policy is not designed to be punitive, but rather a necessary measure to sustain the integrity and quality of our programs. We appreciate your understanding and support as these policies allow us to offer small-group, sustainable, and meaningful travel experiences while maintaining ethical partnerships with our local communities and providers.

We strongly encourage travel insurance. In today’s travel environment, unexpected issues can arise: illness, injuries, family emergencies, flight cancellations, or lost baggage. We recommend comprehensive coverage that includes trip cancellation and interruption, medical care, and emergency evacuation.

Insurance provides peace of mind and financial protection, particularly because we do not issue refunds under any circumstances, including those that may be out of your control.
