Embark on an extraordinary journey through Mongolia, where culture, wildlife, and nature come together to create an immersive and unforgettable experience. Discover the unparalleled beauty of Mongolia's diverse landscapes, from the vast steppes, dramatic sand dunes, grasslands and lakes, and the rugged Altai Mountains.
Visit nomadic families, sharing their homes (these will be our ger camps), and learn about their customs. Taste traditional cuisine and experience Mongolian hospitality. Witness the awe-inspiring art of eagle hunting as the hunters demonstrate their mastery. learn about their traditions as they showcase the ancient bond between these majestic birds and their human counterparts.
This experience is best in small groups and I will be limiting each of these tours to only 5 guests and myself. This will be a unique experience unlike any other tour we offer. Aside from a few nights where we stay in hotels in local towns (during transit periods), we will have a completely private experience in the Mongolian wilderness.

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar. Our team greets you at the airport. We will be transported to our hotel located in the Valley of Tuul River where we can observe a variety of bird species.
Day 2: Fly to Hovd and transfer to Tolbo Lake where we meet the eagle hunters. Capture intimate images of eagle hunters at the sunset. Visit the eagle hunter’s families and learn from their age-old cultures.
Day 3: Tolbo Lake to Altai Mountains. Embark on a scenic drive to arrive at the Altai Mountains and enjoy dramatic views of alpine lake Achit en route.
Day 4: Altai Mountains. Enjoy the scenic alpine mountains and the magnificent wildlife found there, including Siberian Ibex, Argali Wild Sheep, Siberian Marmot, and if we are very lucky, the elusive Snow Leopard.
Day 5: Altai Mountains to Santmargaz. See the landscape change from high mountains to the steppes.
Day 6-7: Santmargaz. Here the landscape changes from alpine mountains to massive sand dunes, impressive oases, rock tors, petroglyphs and wildlife-rich lakes. Experience horse and camel riding with Mongolian nomads.
Day 8-9: Santmargaz to Homyn Tal. Spend a night at the splendid wilderness of Homyn Tal, where we appreciate the world’s last wild horse in its ideal habitat. Until the early 1900s, Przewalski’s Horse roamed the tranquil desert steppes of Mongolia and as a result of poaching and unsustainable export to other countries, the species faced extinction in the wild. In the early 1960s, the last wild horse was seen in the wild desert of southern Mongolia.
Day 10: Homyn Tal to Hovd. Enjoy the scenic drive to get the Hovd town photographing the relict Mongolian Saiga.
Day 11: Return to Ulaanbaatar and enjoy our last day in the capital city before leaving Mongolia.
Day 12: Our journey comes to an end as we begin travel back tour home countries.

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required to hold your spot. Remaining balance can be arranged on a payment plan. Final payments are due 90 days prior to tour start date. Credit cards are accepted for an additional 5% processing fee. All payments made are non-refundable.
