VISIT THE HEART OF THE MAYAN JUNGLE

Enjoy an in-depth tour of the beautiful Riviera Maya! Stay at a private jungle lodge and explore the natural wonders this region has to offer.

One of the highlights of your stay will be the exceptional culinary experience you will have at every meal here. Every meal is crafted by Chef Sebastian Aliano, the property owner of our lodge. With training in Italy and beyond, each meal is thoughtfully prepared using only sustainably sourced ingredients. Most of which are harvested or grown on their own property.

With a pool, a yoga room, rooftop patio, and afternoon visits from a family of friendly spider monkeys, this lodge is truly a one of a kind place. I have known the family for so long that it is also like my second home, and I can't express how much I enjoy bringing people to experience their hidden gem!

  • Day 1: Pickup at the airport and transport to our jungle lodge outside of Playa del Carmen. Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, experience the warmth and charm of this family-owned lodge who have been welcoming guests from Mundial Tours for almost a decade. It is a magical place surrounded by incredible wildlife that truly makes you feel like you are one with nature.

Day 2: Today we visit Rio Secreto and have the caving adventure of a lifetime! We will have a private tour through an underground river system and learn about the natural history and ecology of the region. I have been taking groups to Rio Secreto for many years and Mundial Eco Tours has the privilege of being VIP guests here as we have access to some parts of the caves that are closed to the general public. Everything you need for this experience will be provided (wetsuit, water shoes, helmet, head light, etc.) After our tour, we will enjoy a buffet lunch before returning to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon and group dinner.

Day 3: We have an early start today as we drive out to one of the Wonders of the World, Chichen Itza. After our in-depth guided tour, we will visit our host family and participate in a Mayan culinary experience. The remainder of our day will be spent with our host family learning about Maya history, traditions, and language. At the end of the night after dinner, we will start making our way back to the lodge.

Day 4: After breakfast, we will visit a beautiful cenote and afterwards we hit the town of Tulum! Spend the rest of the day shopping or exploring the beautiful Caribbean coastline. We depart Tulum at sunset and return to the lodge where Chef Sebastian will be waiting for us for our final dinner, in celebration of our last evening together.

Day 5: Enjoy our last breakfast together as our adventure comes to an end.
